Why you need it:
This brush cleaner will get your makeup brushes cleaner than they're even been, and will measurably extend the life of your brushes.
Why I love it:
An assistant told me about this brush cleaner years and years ago and it's the only brush cleaner I've used ever since. It gets the brightest red lipstick out of my lip brushes, the boldest blue out of my eyeshadow brushes and every shade and hue in between out of every brush I own. It's only sold in art supply stores and is meant for cleaning the oil paint out of fine art brushes, so if it can get oil paint out of painters' brushes you can imagine what it will do for your makeup brushes.
Lay your brushes flat on a towel with the brush heads hanging over the edge of the counter to allow air to flow and dry your brushes faster. This will also preserve the glue holding the ferule and prolong the life of your brushes.
The Masters Cleaner and Preserver will get your Beautyblender and other makeup sponges cleaner than any other product, without making the sponge all foamy (which is really hard to rinse out). Same with velour puffs. It makes any makeup brush/sponge spotless.
