WHY YOU NEED IT

Mascara colors designed specifically for redheads. Black mascara, and even dark brown can look really severe on redheads. These tones were developed to be defining and flattering specifically for people with red hair. The formula is buildable, quick drying, vegan and waterproof. 

WHY I LOVE IT

Because redheads can have such fair lashes, ones that are light even at the root, black mascara can look quite stark. And you'd be surprised to know, unless you're someone who loves brown mascara and have bumped up against this issue, that it's quite hard to find a good brown, and nearly impossible to find a warm brown at all. As a makeup artist, I've always used brown mascara on redheads, and even on blondes. It gives the definition you're looking for, but with a softer effect - less severe - and the warm tones look great against fair skin. This redhead mascara builds beautifully, gives you thick, full lashes without smudging or flaking, is quick drying so it's easy to apply multiple coats, and it comes in almost impossible shades to find. There's a special place in my heart for products that are designed for something very specific, and it doesn't get more specific than mascara for redheads.
