THE OUTLINE

Use a light brown or grey eyeliner pencil to sketch out your line before applying liquid liner. You can get the angles right and correct any mistakes easily before committing to the shape.

THE CLEAN UP

Use a light moisturizer and a tiny cotton bud to clean up your liquid liner. Micellar water is too wet and will make the liquid liner bleed.

THE FOUNDATION

Apply eyeliner & liquid liner over a lid dusted with setting powder to prevent liner from transferring onto the upper lid.

THE SECRET LINER

Use liquid liner to tight line. Liquid liner lets you really paint between the lashes, making your lashes look thicker and more defined. Bonus points if you use a long wear or waterproof liquid liner to prevent any traveling.

THE DYNAMIC DUO

Use black AND brown eyeliner together. Use the black right at the upper lash line then gently blend a brown eyeliner slightly above the black. This way you have the softness of the brown to feather out the liner and the richness of the black at the lash line to make the lashes look thicker and fuller.

THE UNDERDOG

Use a taupe eyeliner to add definition under eyes. Softer than brown or gray, it defines the eyes without closing them up or looking severe. Taupe eyeliner is my number one favorite makeup trick in my arsenal.
