The Glow Stick
WHY YOU NEED IT
A multi-use highlighting formula in two textures, pearl and translucent, for face, eyes, cheeks, lips, or décolletage.
WHY I LOVE IT
Addiction Tokyo is a brand I've been obsessed with for years. Any time I would go to Japan, the Addiction makeup counter was my first stop. Lucky for all of us, they've just launched in the US and now we can get their exceptionally crafted products without having to traverse the globe or deal with jet lag.
A highlight of the brand for me - pun 100% intended - are the Glow Stick Highlighters. A range of flexible shades from pale pinky-beige to a warm gold, to soft champagne and my favorite, the clear balm, add the perfect dose of ultra-fine pearlescence for luminous sheen. The clear balm gives skin a natural, dewy glow that feels incredibly modern and fresh, and is currently in heavy rotation in my bag.
Boosted by botanical oils - olive, rosehip, sesame, jojoba, and safflower - the formula is smooth and easy to blend. The sheer, light reflective pearl pigments let the skin shine through while giving the skin an almost three dimensional effect. Apply to the eyes, cheeks, décolletage, cupid's bow, down the bridge of the nose, shoulder caps, anywhere you want to shine.
